RPSB is committed to providing safe, reliable, and efficient student transportation in Rapides Parish. The first and last school official our students see is the bus operator. Rapides Parish operates over 300 routes transporting approximately 11,000 students each day. All buses are owned by the school board. Rapides Parish also operates its own bus maintenance facility. All buses are inspected twice yearly and undergo maintenance to ensure properly functioning equipment.
