Our Rapides Parish School District is relentlessly committed to providing a supportive and innovative educational system that ENGAGES our community, EMPOWERS individuals, and ELEVATES our people to their maximum potential.

For that reason, from November 9, 2021, to November 10, 2021, your RPSB members and directors of various departments spent time together to ensure our mission of being BETTER TOGETHER continues throughout this great school district. 

For two days, several members of the board and the directors collaborated with each other on ways to improve their different areas for our students such as increasing academic achievements, retention through co-curricular and extracurricular activities, improved reading rates, and meeting maximum growth targets that help make connections with high school and career opportunities. 

We promise, to our outstanding community of students, parents, and members, that we will be strategically focused and INTENTIONAL in our drive to grow students from where they are to where we know they can be. That is our mission for the 2021-2022 year.
