J B Lafargue Special Education Center believes that all students can learn, and that when learning expectations are high, student achievement is elevated. JBL is dedicated to providing a rigorous education to all students with disabilities, ages 3-21, by working collaboratively with and assisting Rapides Parish schools, teachers and parents. We are advocates for students with disabilities and committed to meeting their unique needs in the least restrictive environment.

The J. B. Lafargue Special Education Center office and the Resource Center (443-3224) are open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday and closed on all school holidays.
