TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER OR TUTOR

Complete the Volunteer Agreement Form
Go to the school where you’d like to volunteer and get a volunteer agreement form. 
  • Only the principal can sign the form. 
2.
Schedule a Fingerprinting Appointment
Human Resources will reach out for fingerprinting.
  • The cost of fingerprinting is $20 and only cash is accepted. For questions about fingerprinting, reach out to Theda McDowell at 318-487-0888 with Human Resources.

  • LA Wallet is not honored as a form of identification. 
3.
Get Added to the Volunteer List
Once your drug screen and fingerprints come back and you're cleared, you will be added to that school’s specific volunteer list. 

If you wish to become a volunteer at multiple schools, a form must be completed for each school, but you will only pay the fingerprinting fee and complete the background check once. 
 

  • Fingerprints are valid for 3 years. Please turn the completed form into Human Resources.
