Rapides Training Academy is a unique public school in Rapides Parish with various programs that offer something special for our autistic and severe/profound mentally disabled  students.  We serve students from ages 6 to 22 (most with mental ages of 12 months to 5 years).  Our population consists of students from St. Mary's Residential Training Facility, Pecan Grove, Evergreen, and some residential homes. We are proud to be a learning community that promotes and supports our students through creativity, communication, and collaboration. Our students are encouraged to participate in all aspects of our educational programs.
