The Louisiana Legislative Statutes charge the Supervisor of Child Welfare and Attendance with the responsibility of assuring that every school-age child is in regular attendance and with the responsibilities of filing charges to enforce the Compulsory School Attendance Law when necessary.

Documents and Forms
Work Permits are issued between 3:00PM - 4:00 PM Monday - Friday during the school year and Monday - Thursday during the summer.
Students need to bring their Intent to Hire form from Employer, as well as a form of Id (Drivers Lic, Birth Certificate or state issued ID.
Students must be dressed appropriately.
Certification of school attendance form for purpose of obtaining Drivers License or Louisiana learner's permit - Parent or Legally guardian can obtain between the hours of 3:00PM - 4:00 PM
Monday - Friday during the school year and Monday - Thursday during the summer.
