Meet Our Principal
Dr. LaQuanta Jones
My name is Dr. LaQuanta Jones. I am looking forward to the 2018-2019 school year as the new principal of Alma Redwine Elementary. I welcome all who are new to our school and welcome back all who are returning. I am excited to get to know each of you. The coming school year will provide important opportunities for the academic and social development of our students. I am confident that all students will meet our expectations and the demands of your new classes and teachers. Our goal is to ensure that all students become critical thinkers, active problem-solvers, inquisitive readers, diligent researchers, and prolific writers. We do all of this to prepare each of you for the demands of the real-world, so you may become productive citizens, become our future leaders, and contribute and/or give back something positive to the community. I sincerely care about all children and their families, which motivates me to try my best to provide a quality experience for each student every day. Ensuring a safe, positive learning environment is a top priority for me. I look forward to working with all of you and pushing you all to academic heights. On behalf of the faculty and staff of Alma Redwine, I want to again welcome all of you and thank you for being a part of our school where SUCCESS IS NOT AN OPTION…..BUT AN EXPECTATION. We are truly on the path to GREATNESS. Please feel free to contact me with questions, comments, or concerns. I am here to help. Thank you for supporting our school.
Meet Our Assistant
Principal Kimberly Jordan
My name is Kimberly Jordan and I will be serving as the assistant principal at Alma Redwine in the coming 2018-2019 school year. I look forward to this exciting opportunity to be of service to the students, parents and community. I have been an educator in Rapides Parish for over 25 years. Though I am proud of the work that I have done in the field of education, the titles that I cherish the most are wife and mother. I am the proud wife of Phillip Jordan, and the mother of two young adults. I believe as an educator it is essential that students know they are expected to do their best at all times. Secondly, I believe it is important that a warm, safe, loving, respectful and positive atmosphere is provided, so students feel and know they are valued. Thirdly, we, administrators, teachers and parents should provide an educational team that works together, so a quality educational experience is provided for every child. Last, I believe education is important because it equips us with the knowledge necessary to help make our dreams come true. The best is yet to come at Alma Redwine Elementary.
Meet Our Master Teacher
My name is Nikki Snow. I am very excited for the 2018-2019 school year as the Master Teacher at Alma Redwine Elementary. As we make this transition to a 4th and 5th grade campus, I would like to welcome all of our new students and staff, as well as those who may be returning. I am looking forward to working with teachers to implement curriculum with best instructional practices in order to grow our students. I am confident that our students will rise to the high expectations that we set for them and become strong readers, writers, and mathematicians.
