Meet Our Assistant Principal
Pineville is my home. I live here because there is nowhere better!
Being the Assistant Principal at Lessie Moore Elementary has provided me the opportunity to give back to my community. As I end my third year as AP, Principal Laurie Johnson and I, along with our family of teachers and support staff, want to make our students the very best they can be because they are our neighbors and our community’s future. It is our goal to provide quality education in our classrooms and to instill pride and confidence in our students. My hope to build positive views of education in these youngest students, focusing on an excitement for learning, high expectations of themselves, and excellence in all they do.
Meet Our Master Teacher
My name is Caitlyn Maddox. I have been an educator in Rapides Parish for 5 years. In those 5 years I have worked as a 3rd grade teacher Data Teams leader, TAP Mentor teacher, and TAP Master teacher. I am excited and honored to become a BPC Master teacher for the 2018-19 school year at Lessie Moore Elementary. I have a passion for leading both teachers and students and helping them experience success in and out of the classroom. On a personal level, my husband of 7 years is the Defensive Coordinator for the Louisiana College Wildcats in Pineville. We spend our weekends wearing orange and blue cheering on the wildcats with our daughter.
