Meet Our Assistant Principal
Renisha Beaudoin

r beaudoinIt is with great honor and excitement that I introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal at the new Julius Patrick. My passion for education and supporting the success of all students has been shaped over the last 15 years. In each of my roles it has been my goal to provide my students with the best instructional and educational opportunities. The last 7 years of my professional experience includes teaching and leading 6th graders at Arthur F. Smith Middle Magnet School and Alma Redwine Elementary School. I understand that 6th grade is a very formative year academically as well as socially. Providing the students of Julius Patrick with the most well-rounded education possible is my top priority. Through the shared commitment of learning our highly qualified teachers and paraprofessionals, knowledgeable support staff, committed community leaders, involved parents, and determined students will ensure that excellent educational opportunities are achieved.

Meet Our Assistant Principal
Terri Perkins

t perkinsMy name is Terri Perkins, and it is my pleasure to be the Assistant Principal at Acadian Elementary School. I am a product of the Rapides Parish School System and have been a teacher, coach and administrator for 23 years.  I am excited to work with students, parents and teachers, as we grow and learn together at Acadian Elementary.  It is going to be a year of change, growth and learning but I am excited to see what the future holds for our students. I firmly believe that all students deserve opportunities to be successful and are able to achieve, if they are given a supportive learning environment.  I believe that together we can build a brighter future for our students, so I encourage everyone to join with us as we work daily to achieve excellence

Meet Our Principal
Cindy Corley

c corleyBeginning with the 2018-19 school year I, Cynthia Corley, will be the principal of Acadian Elementary. I will be working closely with the administrators in zone 3 to provide a unified school community that will be committed to educating your children throughout their school careers. Our plan is to unite as educators to serve your child from the first day of Pre-K to the last day of 12th grade. Acadian’s leadership team will be the first to greet your child on his or her very first day of school.
As a member of Acadian’s leadership team, I have 13 years of administrative experience and 25 years of educational experience in this school district. I am also a product of the Rapides Parish School System, and I strive to give all children the same educational opportunity I had as a student. As a mother and grandmother, I know there is nothing more precious than my children, and my grandchildren are my world. As a principal, I can promise that there is nothing more important than your children and grandchildren. I will always seek to give your children what I want for my own grandchildren. Your child’s safety, emotional well-being, and education will always be my number one priority. Our team will do our very best to not only educate your children, but also take care of your children as if they are our own!
