I look forward to this exciting opportunity to be of service to the students, parents and community. I have been an educator in Rapides Parish for over 25 years. Though I am proud of the work that I have done in the field of education, the titles that I cherish the most are wife and mother.  I am the proud wife of Phillip Jordan, and the mother of two young adults. I believe as an educator it is essential that students know they are expected to do their best at all times.  Secondly, I believe it is important that a warm, safe, loving, respectful and positive atmosphere is provided, so students feel and know they are valued.  Thirdly, we, administrators, teachers and parents should provide an educational team that works together, so a quality educational experience is provided for every child.  Last, I believe education is important because it equips us with the knowledge necessary to help make our dreams come true. The best is yet to come at Alma Redwine Elementary.
