The Director of Finance prepares and monitors the board’s General Fund and Maintenance Funds budgets. She organizes and directs the finance department which includes payroll, accounts payable, grants accounting, school audits, investments, group insurance, preparation of the board’s financial statements and reporting of financial and statistical data to the State Department. She serves as liaison and provides information to the Board’s Finance Committee and various other subcommittees. The following are some of the areas of responsibility:

• Calculate sales tax distributions

• Budget projections for payroll accounts

• Accounts payable

• General ledger

• General fixed assets

• Sales Tax

• W-2’s

• PEP report

• Quarterly returns
